Center for Higher International Education Facilitation (CHIEF) was founded in 2003 as Unique International Academy and was formally incorporated in 2005 under the Ghanaian Companies code of 1963. Since then we have facilitated the admission of many individuals to universities and colleges in the United States and many of them now hold U.S. academic degrees.

Duly recognized by the Ghana Education Service, today, CHIEF is among Ghana’s very few accredited College Board registration centers. In addition we are a proud member of NAFSA, which gives us a massive reach across the world in terms of relationships with professionals and experts and also knowledge related to higher-education models, international admissions practices and management of education services.


To enable Ghana become an intellectual and professional powerhouse internationally through best possible education. CHIEF envisions creating by 2020, a comprehensive infrastructure which would help even the humblest of Ghanaians access the very best of international education.


CHIEF’s mission is to become West Africa’s most meaningful, effective, and affordable provider of the highest-quality solutions, services and advisory to institutions, policy-makers, individuals and professionals in the field of Education Quality Management, International Education Facilitation, Education opportunities creation and Education Standards Improvement.

CHIEF is on course to achieve this mission through an international network of partners and associates; teams of dedicated and talented members and employees and a powerful knowledge-base thriving on continuous research and development.
